in lakes you get trout bass, 8 mile its blue gill bass carp catfish and if your lucky a striper. out in the rio vista you can catch all that including stergon and flonders.

bass....hella hot at hogan lake(whiskey creek ad bear creek)
stripe bass....(heard) pretty hot somewhere in Rippon

take alpine road exit off 5 going south make left at light then next light make a left stay in rigiht line come to a fork make right and there is a river there i catch fish there all the time but if you see my wagon there keep going down and find your own spot lol
