tech days are back

yo0o0o0o0o let's bring back tech days...

for you guys that dont know what tech days ....
it is a day when you schedule something to do with your car for example... changing a alternator, head gasket, axle.. or whatever. post up a day and see if any volunteers would like to come help, comment or just kick it...

how about some people come to my house and help me swap in new motor so i can start driving again. tired of staying home. i wanna go fishing gotdammit..oh i dont have a engine hoist so i need some strong people to do this by hand, or if you have one bring it by thats if anybody volinteer.

I need help taking off a crank pulley bolt, I don't have any air tools. :[

you dont need air tools, ok heres what u do get a .5 inch ratchet get 6 point socket a 5 lb hammer a .5 inch breaker bar and a chain pully. put chain pully on crank pulley then get .5 inch ratchet with socket attacked put it in bolt use a deep socket grab a hold of hamer and start banging at the end of the rachet to break it loose. do this acouple time then switch to breaker bar to break loose with out breaking your crank pulley. there wont be alot of preassure on it so it wont break.

dont all volunteer at once now.

lol anyone wanna help install and change my belts in the del sol? had to cut the ac and power steering to take a loos pulley out. alternator belt is about to go soon too. lol ill volunteer to help with the motor if u help wit that . lol

i got the perfect job for you beer runner. yea you can help but i'll be done with it by tomrrow night.

and everyone else.. please start a new thread with what you need to do.. when you'll get the part,, and what day you'll have to work on it.. and ask for help.. dont just go on here and scream FML ( fawk my life ) like theblkboogerman did. even though he got a bunk motor and had ron and them swap it out to find out that the valves were bent. and now gotta do it all over again but with a better motor... and yes FYL^^

motor is in but it knocks and tranny is only a 4 speed wich sucks. i got screwed so now i got no choice but to buy a low mileage jdm motor. and funny thing is i can rev it to 8 grand before the limiter kick in.. go figure
