my apologies to all of you for not telling you about this drive that norcal roadster group organized. i wanted to see how they run their cruises before i bring anybody else. i must say, it's nothing like our hammy drive. i left stockton at 8am and got back 6pm. so tired...

well, they're not strict about the car you drive. but their method of mayhem differs slitghtly with ours. where we keep together as a group and the lead car setting and adjusting the pace, they have designated rally points and each car drives his pace or tries to follow the car in front but it's pretty much every man for himself. i was by myself most of the day cause i was too slow for the lead pack and too fast for the trailing pack.

you should throw some ballz in your miata.... *ahem* n20 the roadster rape in turn and the n20 rips on the str8s.

did not get much pics cauz i was holding on or bracing but enjoy !!

that type of group driving is awesome for larger groups.
i've done a few like that with i-club, loved the experiences

rally/check point styled drives are really fun for the longer runs, but it requires a bit of preplanning and like multiple group leaders at times.

i think for the next drive that i take the reigns of, if we get a larger group, we can divide it into group a and group b. Group B being the nutcases


i really want to do a misquito ridge run sometime later.... hint hint.

where was the drive at tho?

around lake berryessa and lake county. 6 hrs of driving covering
roughly 180 miles. and they were still going at it when me and tony
split.

after that drive, i've realized the weaknesses of my car. so the next
few modifications will address those weaknesses. mwahahahhaha...

no, i need to address the problem of my brake pads glazing/fading due to overheating. and also, my car seems to be running a bit rich at full throttle, yet pinging at low revs and extended driving.

and i'll be needing some better seats so i'm trying to get a pair this year too

well the reason why ur car is runing rich is coz it's giving ua sign that it needs more air.
