what the are you guy talking about there's lots to do in stockton. you guys just dont want to like it here. the idea of traveling out of town for fun is more exciting. besides all the bars and lounges in town.. there's allot of great place to eat. we have theatre plays like all the time. ice skating. if your into site seeing walking around the water front down town is fun. a shit load of places to picnics at. batting cages by louis park. charter a boat for a tour on the delta. or charter a boat to go fishing. grab some friends to play baseball / foot ball / volley ball. hundreds of places to go swiming.
bike riding. skate park. watch the latest sporting even. go watch a movies. and if your twisted you can even go watch ppl get prosecuted at the court house. need i say the 99 speedway = nascar fun... they have that little motocross thingy at the fairgrounds. go-cart racing. do yourself a favor besides major clubs. find something that you m ight want to do ( which is " availible out of town ) and google it for stockton and see shows up.

the bar scene.....there's only a handful that i go to because of the crowd factor. too many fights at certain bars/ areas.
downtown.....that's only cool for what.....1, 2 times to do in your lifetime and it gets old. even when they have art walk/events going on, that's on a rare occasion and there's hardly ever any announcements about em.
theater plays.....where? and are they good plays worth paying for?
ice skating.....that's not a every weekend thing to do. not even a once in a month thing to do.
batting cages.....didn't that close down years ago? or am i thinking of a different place.
the other venues you listed, 99 speedway, motorcross, and sporting events around here.....they're "seasonal"

i think there's just not many varieties in stockton. you can only do so many things and then it gets old cuz it's the same shit over and over. same scene.

stockton sucks period. the city dont invest money in entertaiment as much as other city, thats why people tend to go out of town. and if yall aint got nothing to do then get a bunch of 2 liter bottle 5 pound of dry ice and head to the outsirts of stockton and blow them up

well friday i went to a screening of a spanish film at an art gallery. then saturday went to a bboy comp/party.
