Thinking bout selling the 7....

So I'm now debating on selling off the 7... Its a great car and I have allot of plans for it, but I'm just starting to think maybe its just not for me or these style cars are not for me any more.... Here's the thing.. I thinking bout just getting rid of it and move on to a totally different plat form from what any of us roll. Cars that I'm thinking about are, Lexus GS300, Lexus LS400, Infiniti Q45, Mercedes-Benz S500, and the likes... Anyone think I'm starting to go crazy?

EDIT: I got it narrowed down to two cars now...

get yourself something cheap/reliable/stock and when you graduate, get a c63 amg. for right now, you need a reliable daily driver for going to oakland and back.

well, you get the idea. no projects, no tuners. just your basic everyday transportation. you can get something fun, but your main focus right now is practical transportation.

And just so no one gets confused and starts to think that I'm dealing crack now to buy a 40k-50k car thats not the case.. I'm looking a mid to late 90's versions of these cars that range from 3k-13k so it gives yea a better idea of what I'm looking for...

the s500 is one of mercedes' flagship cars. its the full size sedan, with ALL of the latest gadgets. and lately, the 500 represents the v8 and v12 engines. the 600 came back into production in the past few years with the v12 twin turbo model. the 100k is the msrp.

lower S classes, like the 230 or the 300, uses the v6 engines.
S in S class is used to represent a few things... 1, its full length chassis, as in the 230s and the 230sel, 2, S = Super for it high octane requirements for the engine, 3, S = Special cuz its the flagship line. it was mercedes' first car with airbags on the autobahn, among other inovations.

what years did you find an S class for under 20k?

holy crap..... bobby gettin' rid of the 7...... before I ask why.... i'll ask HOW MUCH..... could be kind've cool to build a vert 7 to be identical to my coupe and let my lady drive around with it...

just checked the craigslist for some S class mb, and yea... they're 10-20k for a mid 90s.

consider the prices of parts for these cars before making a choice.
personally, i'd probably go with the s500 or gs300/400

i think the S series is second to the other high end european cars.
in my world, the only thing that can top a nice S would be the caliber of a Bently
