offset and wheel size.
im planning on buying wheels within the next couple weeks. i just dont understand specs all that well.
looking for the wide stance/fat lip look. i dont wanna go through hella sets of rims just tryna get the right stance.
im getting my coilovers soon so clearance adjustabilities will be no problem further more..
i only have a handful of rims to choose from as most of the styles i chose from might not have the dimensions im looking for. so if i can get a reference on what dimensions would seem just right on the S13 coupe/sil front.. would be much appreciated.
i think 17x9 or 17x9.5 is what i wanna go with but i just need a good offset. im so confused.

Re: offset and wheel size.
what coilovers are you getting? a lot of coilovers don't go that low so watch out. i have kts and they're fine. stance is fine too, so is poweredbymax, but don't get cusco. i've seen them first hand maxed out and not low enough.
and are you planning to pull your fenders? be gangster and do it please. stockton needs more flush.
also 240's look better with 17s in the front and 18s in the back, it makes it more balanced out. you can't spin 18's with KA though so warning you now haha. i have spare 17's with skinny tires just so i can spin them.
the max you can run in the front is 9.5's. 10's are too wide for stock fenders and plus they're too wide for turning, the inside will hit either the tension rod or just the fender wall all together. rear has more clearance but still for stock body 9.5 is MAX. maybe 10 if you want like -5 degrees of camber hahaha.
keep offsets low. for 9.5 front they usually come in +12 to +18 so that's fine. any higher you'll rub on the coilovers. any lower you'll just stick out hella ugly. like i said rears you can go lower but +12 to +15 will be fine.
for reference
girlfriend's car (and her other one haha)
front 17x9.5 +15 FLUSH, about -2.8 degrees of camber just rolled
rear 18x9.5 +12 FLUSH, i forgot -2 degrees of camber slight pull and roll
my car
17x9 +17 NOT FLUSH i have hella camber too (didn't get an alignment yet oops), i need to get spacers, probably 15-20mm
my friend xander
same shit as me
front 17x9 +7 (10mm spacer) still not flush haha
rear 18x9.5 +12 slight pull and rolled

Re: offset and wheel size.
oh yeah DO NOT GET MEGANS OR KSPORT OR D2 THEY SUCK SUPER SHIT REALLY BAD. i know they're cheap but the valving is shit and they feel like shit when you're drifting. and no this is not "i read it on the internet" bullshit i've drifted on all of them and they suck haha.
don't forget toe arms and rucas for the rear or else you'll have some funky ass alignment. i suggest tension rods in the front too for caster.

Re: offset and wheel size.
shit while we are on this subject... im getting 30mm fender flares what are the offset and such on the FC(rx-7)anyone have a clue....
Re: offset and wheel size.
i wanna roll the fenders just slightly. so it looks like i just barely squeesed the wheels in.
im picking up another s13 coupe/silvia front with tein coils. i dont know wat model yet. the car is droped lower than mine and the guy im buying it from says they still have about 1/3 to 1/2 of the strut body left of height so thats not a problem.

Re: offset and wheel size.
if you wanna just roll and not pull just stick with 9's in the rear with decently low offset. like +5 or some shit like that. I'm running weapons in the rear 17x9 +17 and it looks like hot garbage. i didn't get an alignment yet and i think i'm running like literally -5 degrees of camber. run low camber and and 9's and you should be fine.
dominic fc sizing is smaller than s13's i think you can be perfectly flush with just 9's all around. with 30mm fenders i would say run 9.5's and low offset. by the way how's your bro been? i miss that fool haha! i used to always randomly see him around.
and thanks for the comments everyone hahaha. i'm bringin the heat son!
get rad brad
home improvement

lol, andre?? he's coo..he's been randomly posting up on here(FOCUS06).. just car-less right now.. he lives in sac thats why you havnt seen him around..... as soon as he finds a ride im sure you'll see him around again....
