Re: the sexaholic newbie
Thanks for informing us of the technique you use but that is not what I was asking.pornosquadz wrote:im pretty much a shift lock kinda guy lol usually everyone starts off e-brake.
I guess I should have been more detailed about my question?
What is your experience level?
Are you a noob?Intermediate?Advance?
Are you just some guy who jumped on the bandwagon and just out of control power slides and call them "Drifts?"
Have you done any events?
Which Practice sessions have you gone to?
How long have you been around motorsports?
Are you strictly all about going side ways?
Is the 240sx your first " drift" car?
and so on...
Basicaly, a little history of your automotive background.
Things of that nature is generally what I was inquiring about.

Re: the sexaholic newbie
1. Enter a turn at a speed too high for the
vehicle to handle (if you do not drift, your vehicle should experience
understeer at this speed).
2.Turn your wheels into the turn and quickly downshift into a lower gear (2nd gear).
3.By quickly downshifting (but not Heel-Toe Downshifting) you will put stress on the
driveline, causing the vehicle to slow down and your engine rpms to increase.
4.Afterbdownshifting, quickly get on the throttle causing your wheels to break traction,
sending your vehicle into a drift.
5.When you feel the vehicle’s rear end kicking out, immediately
countersteer the wheels to face straight with the road. Your vehicle will pull
in the direction of the front wheels, as long as the wheels are still moving.
Keep on the throttle. If you press the brakes or let off the throttle because
your vehicle is in an extremely oversteered condition, you will spin out or
leave the road.
6. When you wish to straighten out your car,
after completing the drift, let off the throttle smoothly and straighten out the
wheels as your vehicle kicks in line behind the front tires.[/size]

Re: the sexaholic newbie
lol i can already drift lol.. but i prefer drag racing.. i already studied the you tube. video drift bible lol.. by the master.. lol.. nahh drifting seems fun but honestly i couldnt do it. id rather drag race. you get to keep the tires for more then 3 times out.. but id still like to do it on a track and shit..

Re: the sexaholic newbie
the whole purpose of drag racing is to break shit.
id rather buy hella sets of tires then new axles, transmission rebuild kits.. ect.

Re: the sexaholic newbie
nahh the point of drag racing is one of two ending results.. beat the other guy down the track aka. grudge racing or .. have the same recurring time after another. 10.50.. 10.50. 10.50 without going above or under the time.
breaking shit is the result of rigged mechanics aka mickey mouse.. and stupidity. running 500whp on stock axles isnt bright.. if ya know what i mean..
not to mention all that strain on a vehicle drifting has even worse results on the chassis, body then drag racing.. lol.. not to mention you would have to do the same logical thought with drag racing as well as drifting.. but it would be still be pretty cool to try it out one time

Re: the sexaholic newbie
drifting looks more fun.
driving a straight line for 9-14 seconds..
bleh.
and it doesnt matter if youre the best mechanic in the world, cars were not built for quick launches, and even the parts that were made for them dont live to see too many..

Re: the sexaholic newbie
i'm not being hostile..I just want to see what the guy's got!
he talks like he's super mad jdm tyte...and he said he's a DRIFTER...
so i figure..he MUST KNOW Mr. Lucky and be major drift status...
but yeah, i'm not hating or anything.....
------
There is no "more fun" when it coems to drift vs. drag..
It's just what people like.
