a kat owner?

Well I thought id join on this site since I will be going to UOP in the fall. Get to know local 209 car people. I know a few people already on here from various car meets and through people that post on apexnetwork, but for those who dont know me im Wyatt and currently live in Yuba City. Drive a 96 S14 ka-t . (Sorry for the big picture, but Im on dial up and it takes forever to do anything on photobucket.)

Its a older pic, once I throw on my works sitting in my garage, wax it, and lower it a bit more ill throw on some updated pics. Anyways, hope to meet some more 209 people at the next meet.

Sup duke, well its not roaring as it should. For the past few weeks its been running pig rich in WOT. My wideband goes straight to 10 a/f and cant read anything lower. Car feels slower compared to a while ago when it was running 11.5 a/f. I suspect a few boost leaks being the problem.

And im the first ka-t member on here? , well I think im the only ka-t owner on apexnetwork to haha. Where the kat's at?????

lol duc convinced me to go KA-T with my s13 lol... when i had it lol.... but like everyones telling me lately... i went over to the light side lol..

i sold my 240 couple weeks ago and picked up my 86 lol.. the plan was to have it running this week since im on spring break... but, shit happens...

Nice, how do you like Pacific and whats your major? I dont think I will be living in the dorms so ill prob just rent a apartment near the school since for transfer students you gotta share a apartment with 2 or 3 other dudes and costs pretty much the same as living alone in a apartment.

Anyone know any nice apartments with a garage near UOP? I havnt even started to look where to live for fall haha.

It's not bad, but it also depends what major you are and if yoru gonan be really into student life. if ur into partying....haha forget about it....i've been here for 2 1/2 years..and i've gone to 1 party that was awesome...and my standards arn't that high for good parties. Other than that...ti's probably gonna be a typical college experience.
There WAS a car club on campus last year but this year ..it kinda just became dust in the wind..other than that...yeah..

there are no apartments with garages within a few blocks range of campus. there are some apartment complexes with a covered area or gated..that's about it. there are about 2-3 houses for rent that have garages right near campus. Another option would probably to just rent a room.

Honestly, if money is not the problem..i'd suggest you live in the dorms or apartments. you'll meet more people that waya nd hear about more activities on campus.

eh, im not really into school activities haha. I dont really care if there are parties either since I wont be in stockton on fridays or weekands most likley. Ill have to drive home to work on the weekands. The campus looked nice and all, reminded me of a small version of chico state but 4 times as expensive haha.

yeah the campus is nice.. parking is usually a bitch but u just gotta know where to park...i purchased a parking permit the first year i was there..and all the places i parked didn't even require a permit.

btw, what major are you?

My major is like a asian studies that is concentrated on japanese. Yeah.... not the best of major's but its something I want to learn. Ill proably minor in business or econ. as well.

then you definetly want to try to study abroad!!!

Good thing about UOP's asian studies program is that you have to live abroad for atleast 1 semester in order to graduate. Works out good though since I have family living in tokyo, yokohama and osaka.

well stockton is not like sac.. so geting a duplex down the street alittle further wont hurt... like somewhere close to hammer. there's allot of places for rent.. and almost everywhere in stockton is just about a 15 drive so that's not to bad. acouple garage places around my area up for rent... anyways see you around.

yeah, i park there every day.

instead of in the parkign lot right on campus...

a five minute walk everyday saves 75 bucks a year!

and it's good for my health.


well if ur a transfer student, i'm assuming your a Junior right?

int hat case, is there a specific time during the year that you have to live a broad or are you able to chose?

if your able to chose, do it over the summer or the first semester of your last year.
