back on subject. please change the title to something like.. goods and
bads about swaping to a B series. cuzz leaving it B and D series is
more then inviting confrontation. cuzz i can only imagine the numb
skull that would throw a d16 into a integra.
cuzz imo if you want to do a motor swap. pick a goal in which you would like to proceed in modding your car for.. such as... autox. touge. drag. rally.. do some research to see if you really need the million horse power... for that event.. cuzz surprisingly allot of events really dont require allot of horses.. and in the words of danny... drive your car even in drag racing... get some intake header exhaust. run your low 16/high15 consistantly and i'll gaurantee you'll bring home a trophie...
for example i have a friend that complained about how he cant drift in his peg leg single cam 240sx.. then bobby got on it and proved that.. Driver > Car. and was spining it till the tire pop.... unless you feel the need to have the power to curp through all 5 gears, peel out in front of partys and gurls, and bust donuts on the freeway.

be my guest.. go with a h2b/d.. best dohc swap IMO.and pretty much stock parts the h22 should cost about 4-800. tranny 50-300 adaptor plate kit for tranny is around 600-800...motor mounts 60-150. splice the harness.. get a p28 ecu 75-150 and you'll have a true v8/corvette eater street driven, for less then the cost of a type R or GSR motor.
besides a goal to hit lower then 14's secs on a 1/4 mile, and to
have a great looking motor in your show car. i really dont see the need
to convert a d16 to a B/h/f series.
keep it short.. reality check.. check your fanboyassness at the door. and come drive with real drivers.
