Anybody have the Honda Crank Holder tool?

Im about to change my timing belt this week asap, but I need that tool and dont really have funds to buy one. I can put some money to borrow it.....

you have to pull off the crank pulley to get to the timing belt

how many miles you got on her? when is it recommended to be changed on the em2s?

go rent a chain wrench from your local autozone you get your money back in full when its returned.

I have about 128K, and it is recommended at 100K......so I need to change it haha

If I cant get hold of the tool I might just use a flathead/flywheel trick but Im kinda iffy about that

dude go rent the tool that goes into the crank pulley to keep it still the.. chain wrench is hekka risky.. if you dont do it right you'll break your pulley.. * i use the chain wrench myself, but i've broken my share of pulleys >< * it looks alittle somthing like this..

I think autozone has the tool you need. If not just put an old belt over the it, if you decide to use the chain wrench method...You should be fine.

use a torch to heat it up if your gonna use a chain wrench, it makes it easyer to take out.
