suspention help!!!!! PLZ

i have an 96 accord i lowerd it on cosimo coilovers and its squeaking in the back
have no idea what is everything looks fine

tighten up all your bolts.

and make sure everything is seated properly when you drop the car back.

could it be the spring rubing on itself???

yea it could be your springs. go get some silacon base lubericant and spray the shit out of your springs and all rubber bushing. or pb blaster its suppose to recondition ruber.

u think if i get a plastic tubing and slide it between the springs it would stop the sqeeking?

between the springs???


how many springs do you have on each coilover?

If you are referring to a helper spring then i doubt that would stop w/ the squeaking. plastic might make more noise and even slip off, plus plastic will heat up when your springs compress and decompress...

hey man did u install the spring your self? did u put back the rubber pad the spring suppose to sit on between the top hat and the spring it self, check that, did u install bushing between the sleve of the coilover and the shock, check all this and if not do it and it would solve your problem. are your shocks still good? are they farting dust? when i got my ef it was so bad that it squeak and yes farting dust when push down and pulled up.

bring it to my house friday afternoon we'll rip it apart and look at it^^

i ment cosmo racing i placed rubber inbetween the sspring and it seems to stop temporarly for now

i cant seem to fit the tubing trough the spring because they flatend out the spring at the ends. so i had to cut the tube and place pieces inbetween i dont know how long it will stay there

ANY suggestions to fit tubing into spring??

but now there is a high sqeaking sound in my front now

seriously...just stop everything your doing. you seem to be fixing one problem only to have another problem occur.

Have someone who knows what they're doing take a look. coz it seems like ur just doing something wrong or just not explaining it clearly?


also, put up pictures of what you are doing. that might help a bunch.

better yet push it into a ditch and burn it and report it stolen so u can get a new car. j/k best thing to do is retrace your step go backward on what u did that lead up to that. what did u do last to you car and before that and before that, you might find the answer to what u did wrong for it to start making that sound.

i got it the cliks came from the plastic tube sticking to the spring
wd40 fixed it for now

carefull wd40 cracks the rubber in time... its better if you grease it a bit

does PB blast crack plastic
cuz it say it can damage plastic but it renews rubber

plastic and rubber are two different things.

only one way to find out..... spray the dam thing to see if theres any reaction.

pb blast works wonders on everything, ditch the wd 40 and pb blast the shit. side note wd 40 is a solvent base lubicant its better for clean shit up were pb blast is oil base and penetrate all kinda shit. and u dont have anything plastic on your suspention except the dust boot but other then that all rubber and metal or plyurathan what ever u have.

i never hesitated to blast any stuck bolts...

take them off your old spring. wait u talking bout dust boot or bumpstop?
