awd civic possible?

i herd the crv is based on the civic platform
will it be possible to have an awd civic doing a awd crv drivetrain swap?

its been done but its not real awd. you have front wheel drive for normal use but when you have any type of wheel spin or traction problem up front, power is sent to the rear so now theres power to all 4 wheel. search youtube theres lots of 4wd civics. theres even a awd crx with gsr motor.

but yeah seriously..google is ur friend,any swap u can think of it, jsut search for it..

personally if i were to make an AWD civic...i'd just get a wrx chassis and weld civic body parts on it...

ok 92 AWD impreza wrx length of car is 172 inch width 67 inc
a 95 civic coupe 172inch length width 66 inch
under chassie the civic exhuast will be in the way so need custom exhuast no big deal ..where iam getting at is you can take a complete impreza motor with trans and drive shaft rear end slap it on a 95 civic coupe but if ur a welder its a easy cheap awd civic re locate gas tank to trunk use cut weld cute weld to fit the rear end and motor wise a coupe has a bigger engine compartment than the impreza all you gotta do is fab your own motor mounts its a bit of work just labor wise money wise i would say with car and motor and all you will be in 4 or 5 g's deep

why not just buy a fucken early civic wagon that comes with awd. the drive train on those have handle up to 400 hp

and here the fun u can have with awd civic or any awd car.
