I have been thinking about converting to e85..... its 105 octane and supposedly good for the enviroment and doesnt do harm to your motor....
any of you know much about it??
how much does it usually run per gallon?? (the nearest gas station that sells it is in galt)

the higher the octain the more water down it is your not going to get any horse power from it more like u will lose it. people who have built motor with high compression or turbo charged or high horse power street cars run this cause its almost like race gas it limit the chance of pre ignition. it will run fine in your gas engine how ever you will notice that it might be slugish cause you need twice the amount of e85 to make the same power as regular gas.

theres a drift scene 350z drift, there are videos that are online (i saw it on comcast on demand) showing how she converted it and drifts it, but her car gave her more problems than its worth, it would only be good for a weekend car
also, ethonol is alcohol based form of fuel, imagine you have a just gotten a piercing and you keep cleaning it with rubbing alcohol, it dries out and gets all crusty on the side, now imagine what its going to do to your fuel injectors
our joy is the ozones loss, cows do more damage to it than our cars do

the only place ive seen e85 was at a chevron station... in DAVIS.
but yeah, i've thought about it...personaly, just the inconvenience of being able to pump at a few selected gas stations sucks balls.
