now dont get it twisted, i'm not saying a 13 second car isn't fast..but MOST cars in your class break 13s stock...

not put you on blast what is experience with drag race and do you goto sac raceway ofte b/c you will know that pretty rare see 350z in the 13.xx so many z out there hardly break into low 14's. plus doing this with oem size street tire not tryna make you look stupid or go off on you alot people don't realize how hard is it to drag race be proficient at it unless do it self not try rant on but not common see gto camero or mustang only do 13.7 or above

you can see lower part of page im just berely made it into top 25 2003-2004.5 (non-revup vq35de motor) and top 25 open to any 350z for specific category

were you asking bout my experience with drag racing? if that's what you were asking then i'd have to say i'm still an amateur. I've only been drag racing for about 7-8 years..heck, id probably still be drag racing if i was still messing with hondas. As a matter of fact, I think i'm one of the very few on here who are still into drag racing. And yeah, most people do think drag racing is just bout having a fast car, even though it helps, it's not the only factor in getting that fast 1/4 mile time. I'm not one of those people who think that...but like i said, i only have about 7-8 years of drag racing experience under my belt, i'm still an amateur.

How often do I go to sac raceway? i think i've been there about 5-6 times since CMI winter warmups. Not having car to drag plus school + work kinda cuts down on play time.

And I agree, its rare to see any 350z go that fast because it's an expensive car to play with. Breaking a 10k car is a lot sadder than breaking a 4k car. Even with that said, it's not hard to make a 350z go fast.Take a look at your car, you basically have bolt ons and hitting 13s..Now I don't own a Z, but i have driven a few...and for you to say that you HARDLY see a Z break low 14s...you either don't see too many Z's around or u might have ur information twisted...a STOCK Z is a LOW 14s car..I consistently broke 14.3 with my friends stock Z..I even knew a guy who had pretty much basic bolt ons and it was an automatic to break 14.2

you should run high 13's on paper your power/weight ratio should make into 13's in world perfect world

question i have is that how can someone tune your car if you seem to have a spacer in your plenum and a super tweeked out exhaust? wouldn't you need like a programable fuel managment system. or a wideband or somthing?
