T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
Well as some of you may know, i jsut recently purchased these.
The 4 link are a good buy considering my old bushings were already rotted to the core. The noise level is not really that bad as some may think. my car still sounds the same. The only real difference I notice is when i decel, i get a slight vibration under my ass. Another thing is that when let off of the clutch SOMETIMES, it feel slike that whole "clutch kick" feeling. u hear a slight interupt in the driveline. something like a little "click." nothing to bad coz it doesnt happen all the time.
Traction Bracket. These mugs are noisy as Fudge. Havn't had a chance to drag launch the car yet, but just from driving it. Everytime u let off , it wil vibrate like it's about to break. Even when ur full on, it'll make the same sound, inside and outside of the car. These got annoying after driving for just 10 minutes. Personally...put them on only during track days.

Re: T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
problem? i dont think i said there was a problem?
but if ur refering to the noise of the traction brackets...yes that's normal. i emailed t3 and they said that that's normal. Even a few of the guys i've talked to said the traction brackets will make that noise.

Re: T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
When you installed the T3 4-links, did you make them the same length as the stock 4-links?

Re: T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
Just curious cuz I'm using the Megan Racing 4-links and I made the lower arms the same length as stock and the upper arms are about 2mm longer than stock.

Re: T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
I did it to tilt the diff's pinion angle upward so that it would line up with the driveshaft.

Re: T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
2mm makes a big difference. power is transferred through the driveline to the rearend alot better.

Adusting the lower arms would change the wheelbase, but I left them the same as stock.

Re: T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
okay, well i made my diff point like about 1 degree downward becuase if i have it any higher, my rear and drive shaft would rub against the underbody ( which i found out later)...
I guess you can go upwards becuase your still using the stock diff and driveshaft..
both driveshaft and diff on mines are bigger than the stock so i gues taht's why i'd have to go downwards...

Re: T3 4 link and Traction Bracket
If I lengthened the upper arms a lot more, they would be hitting the axle housing everytime the car bounds. I only adjusted them enough so when the car sits, the pinion angle is lined up with the driveshaft.
I think the lower arms are suppose to be tilted slightly downward in stock ride height form, but since I'm lowered it can't be helped. I would use traction brackets to fix that, but I think I'll wait until I get coilovers.
