I think if you're at least 16 you can ride. But if you have your license you could probably enter.

^^my mom doesnt approve of my car hobbie lol. The reason why i had a hard time even getting my licence is cause my parents new i wanted to drift and do autoX lol

take them to the autox,
and tell them that you'll keep it to the autox.
you gotta gain their respect and trust, makes life a lot easier.
by having them see the autox, see how its a controlled environment
mmakes you a better driver, blah blha blah,
hell, we'll even introduce ourselves.

and when they see that most of the scca members are older than they are, they might ease up a bit

they just dont want you to be a better driver than them

but yeah, it's a good idea to start honing in abilities early
