think your faster than me?

alright, I don't know the reaction I may get from any of you but here goes. I want to set up a place to race. (not drag) a place easily reachable, and well out of the way. I want to challenge people to see who is faster. some place with lots of turns and maybe uphill and downhill etc. I know it may seem childish, or I've been watching too much Initial D, but I'm tired of not ever really using my car, and I want a few illegal thrills in my life. My thought was to run cat and mouse, so we don't need both lanes of any given road, I am going to start doing some scouting and any ideas would be greatly appreciated. If no one else is up for it, I am at least looking for a good place to practice.

no runs for me anytime soon. autocross is coming up and that's where all my gas is gonna go

there are certain roads right outside of tracy..i've een ona few that takes you towards other cities.......not the best road int he world..but yeah, it gets the job done...

i know there's like 4 routes between tracy and the east bay area...

lots uphills though...

..........or you can just do the autocross. it's safer and legal

well..technically...we're not breaking any laws on mountain runs...

though, autox is SAFER.

Meh. I wanna do a mountain run. Sounds like fun. Initial d. haha. Do a couple laps on the route slowly and pick the speed each time.

Long? It really depends..

we've had runs that'll get u home by 4pm...and ONE run that didnt end until almost 7...THEN we had to DRIVE almost 2 hours back home...

so yeah....

I'd like to do something about 3-4 miles for the race, an actual drive would be cool though

i do morgan territory, calaveras, and the eastern foothills as well.

i don't do as many random runs as the other tho. and i haven't done anything since getting my latest DD.
other than the last group drive.

honestly, if u want to do runs, just find liek 2-3 cars and ur good to go..

that's how i found most of the roads i run on..usually coz i have a free day and jsut feell ike driving..
