i am currently unemployed and looking for work. if anyone knows any place thats hiring or you have a business yourself and looking for people. let me know. i will do anything. thanks

Honestly, if you are willing to do anything.

Go get a warehouse job. They are usually always hiring. 90% of the time you would have to go through a temp.

So go apply at a temp agency and keep calling them back constantly.

There are also a bunch of websites such as Monster and Hotjobs.

jobs are out there. the good ones are for those willing to dig.
i personally stopped hooking people up with job offers with my hookups.
my friends who i got jobs for ended up doing such piss poor jobs, it slandered my name. my hookups asked me why i even did the referral.

yep. i'm pretty good with reading people's personalities and if i think that you aren't fit for the job or that i think you're not gonna like the work/hours/etc. then i won't give out applications. we used to hire all the time, but the economy is bad and we haven't had new hires in about a year.
there's jobs on craigslist so check that. and like l rock said, there's always jobs to have in a warehouse somewhere. and they usually pay decent money.

Especially in this economy, jobs are for people willing to WORK. Like L Rock, I've been burned a few times recommending people.

When I was younger and wanted money, I showed up for day labor jobs. Yeah, so I was the only white boy out there picking grapes, but I paid my bills and always had some spending cash. Check out the paper for day labor notices. Strap on the steel toe shoes and show up!!

Temp agencies are GREAT. Just go by their offices with a resume. Once you make a contact, call them everyday at 8:00AM. People who bug the most at temp agencies get the first jobs. (For two reasons... it shows you are serious and ready to work, and it gets you to stop bugging them.) Manpower and Pridestaff have the most warehouse type work. Check out Kelley and Addeco too.

Go the EDD office in town. Get someone to help you, they aren't only for handing out unemployment checks. People there can help you find a job. Register with CalJobs, (the state run employment site, lots of jobs there).

welfare <---- the correct way to spell it. which is pretty much cash aid from the government...not everyone is qualified. and it's a plus when you have kids.

you are able to work. why would you go on welfare? welfare is set up for people who are not able to work, people that are too old and mouths feed. welfare funds come from the tax payer, people who have jobs they wouldnt like if very much if they know that somone at your ager, and able to work is getting welfare. it would be a waste of tax payers money. any way i started a thread like this last week. and advance h20 is hireing.

up in washington, if youre not physically disabled, youre not eligible for cash from the government, i.e. welfare.
i wouldnt be surprised if it was the same down here, especially since cali is poorer than washington.

i just discover this thing call the internet and i found lots of job here in the valley, dont pay much but its money i applyed at some of the jobs i found but nothing yet. if you need to find a job then you should check out monster.com they got tons of listing.
