ahhh helmets
So, Im trying to by a new a helmet online but I dont even know what the right size is for my head.. is there a place were I can figure out what size helmet I need that will fit nicely with out being to tight or to loose?

Jon, There is sport bike/ATV dealership located behind all the dealership that has Helmets in there you can try on and find what size you need..

Yes, just behind the Chevy and Toyota dealership right across the street from the Pontiac dealership...

If your buying a new motorcycle helmet you will meet those regulations so no need to worry.

HJC is fine. Heck, I have an HJC. but just an FYI...the one ur looking at is pretty "heavy"...yeah i nkow 5lbs is heavy? when it's sitting on ur head...it makes a difference. but if u dont really care and only plan to wear it sparingly..it should be fine..
I personaly like OGK or Arai myself.
it's really based on pref on what kind u want. the only thing is just get oen that is DOT and SNELL >2000 approved.
and also, once u figure out what kind you want, go to a shop to get ur head fitted...coz XL in one brand is a diff size in another...
what you want is for it to hug ur face. the basic test is that when you put it on, you should hold the front bottom piece and move it up or down. if ur forehead moves w/ the helmet. it'sa pretty good fit. If it doesnt...it's a little too loose.

i get mines from walmart best helmets i've ever bought.. haaha.. i mean paint it sticker it up throw a mohawk on it and call it a day.

as long as its dot and snell rated im guessing, yea i know 5 pounds is heavy, right now I have an arai but its pretty beat and its out of date so i need a new one. ill post up a pic in a few seconds
