Firefox has been tweakin on me too, and since I've been using the iBook I dont want more damned browsers on here, I prefer flock when I'm using windows. Sometimes I have to use IE or Safari on the iBook tho when firefox takes a dump and errors.

Re: New here from Santa Rosa
hay there. welcome to the forums.. i'm one of the shop owners. and a long term member of the209forums, and not to memtion a modder. i used to live in santa rosa. my bro and his friend used to run in team intensity over there ever heard of them??? and motor swaps wise. we've been doing that forever. from na- to better na. from na to na t. na to turbo, rotory to v8. carb to fuel injected. and we are not limited to honda or toyota's.. i've work for proformance distribution companys and have many friends. we do everything from changing oil. to motor swaps. to show quality paint jobs... ok now that the credentials are out of the way.
i have one question for you..... DO YOU HAVE ANY 2JZGTE ?? lying around.. if not then can you beat 1500 for complete swap over.. cuzz if you can.. you just became my new best friend. cuzzz we're looking for one for our mk4. anywho.. no hard feeling or anything between more recent conversation. hope we can get along...
p.s. we only use our master's ase cert. for buying freon.

Re: New here from Santa Rosa
No havent heard of Team Intensity, but there are alot of people around here with lots of little teams like 5-10 people teams. How long ago did you live here? Do your friends still live here? Perhaps I know them...
So what are you asking about the 2JZ? You need a USDM or an Aristo? And when you say complete swap over are you saying you need it installed or you just need all the parts?
So you're one of the Amatak owners? I been interested in paintin my MKIII but I dont think I could make 1 meet a month. I mean it wouldnt be like never, you know, but lets say I make it 1 month, I make it the next cant make it the follow, make it the next, cant make it the following. So out of like 6 months I could probably make 3 or 4 of the actual meets in Lodi, other than that I'll be at Stockton99 for sure and we have cars in all the shows up here and races all the time at T-hill and possibly 1 at Laguna this season. Can that make up for some missed meets?

Re: New here from Santa Rosa
just the motor.. aristo would be nice.. but wont be picky cuzz baggers cant be choosy. i'm not sure which way i wanna go with the whole swap overover. i may need the comple harness also.. but then again .. we may go with a gm tranny and a stand alone depending on the situation and our goals.. pretty much i'm asking if you have one laying around. i would rather have an aristo cuzz they dont abuse their cars like the supra's .. so yeah.. anywho. as long as you make an effort to come to the meets then like i sayd earlier that's all we can ask for.

Re: New here from Santa Rosa
Nuthin much if you're just overhauling and not making a race engine or anything. But in ALL 7Ms whether turbo or not, whether race engine or not I recommend 2 things... Cometic MLS headgasket and ARP bolts or studs. Personally I go with studs. Every 7M I do gets both those.
Ha ha, it'll probably also have broken motor mounts. Look up "Ultra Mounts" on Ebay. Kick ass mounts!! I put those in all MKIIIs that need them now

Re: New here from Santa Rosa
arp 's are the daddy's of any high performance motor swap.. expecially frankensteins .. man factory bolts are only good for soooo long.. then they age.. stretch, and give out.. **** AHEM.**** ls-r for example.. anywho.. thanks for the advice.
