Have you put the starlet on Craigslist to try and sell it? Are you really trying to sell it?L Rock wrote:dig that..ig uess the grass is always greener on the other side..

Re: engine swaps
are you guys talking about converting the delsol auto to stick? if you are. finding a hydro Dseries tranny in pnp is uber rare if not impossible to find. it'll range for more then 500 at certain yards. i was looking for one for almost 3 months, then i just pulled the tranny out of our project hatch. hahahaha.. it's a pain in the ass to locate one of those trannies. if you know someone that can rebuild a tranny, i have a vtec hydro for sale for 50 bucks. that's about how much i would get if i rip it apart and scrap it. some of the gears in it is fucked. that's all.

I'm not sure. it's not in any of his cars right now. He says he's done with racing and he wants to get rid of some stuff. He's got a 99 gsr long block, type r jackson sc, a nos kit for either d series or b series..and a bunch of other small stuff.

Re: engine swaps
hmmmmm type R supercharger.. i didn't know the itr had/came with a s/c i could be wrong.
you wanna learn about honda?? you gotta start from the bottom buddy, come hang out at the shop when i'm doing swaps and working on car. and seriously you will start from the bottom. which means you'll be cleaning tools and parts for a good couple of months. then you'll learn how to use tools and not strip bolts. at the same time you'll learn the many ways of how to get a striped bolt out, lol . then when your comfy with that, you can move on to the torgue wrench -o0o0o- then you move on to power tools. and hopefully you'll learn how to work on car in between all of that.
honda 's are cake... only thing i dred is the blasted type SH <--- the devil made that.

Re: engine swaps
the sh is great to drive but a bitch to fix. imagine an cancerious tummer which sits where the half shaft is suppose to be, which you is a pain in the ass to take out.. i mean it take longer to figure out then ripping out the whole motor. probably cuzz it's new to me but dam it. it is a pain in the ass. half way through working with one, i found a way to work around it.
