So its welded to the exhaust? Why not just borrow that if he's willing and slap the whole thing on. haha or is it a s14 exhaust?

the exhaust hangers are a little different on the s14 from s13 and me and my friend kinda cracked the downpipe at the flange where it meets the exhaust manifold so it wont work lol

haha yeah just get the moving permit thing. and you don't have to worry bout smogging and crap I think. I'd say just wait for your appt. the cat could be under the $500 of repairs, so you don't have to spend money.
