HELL NAW i didnt buy it lol... and plus i started thinking that if were to buy it i should have him smog it first because i dont want to get screwed over, and plus the title was never signed over to him... he said he got it from his friend and i asked him if lived near where we were at and he was all like yea but we got into an arguement and we dont tak ne more... idk it just seemed all bad...

now, interesting thing happened at work today. a guy came up to me and asked if i knew anybody that wanted to buy a miata. i believe he said it was a 93 that he was building for his wife to autocross. it's street legal, with all suspension mods and panasports. he said he was selling it for 4k, and stupid me, i forgot to ask for his number.

WooOoOo... another 240 to go take a look at tomorrow... hopefully its not as shitty as the last on i went to go take a look at... i guess ill let you guys know how that went tomorrow... im really hopeing this one will be it....

piece of advice,
continue to window shop, and don't jump on every low price 240. you should be able to find a decent priced one in decent condition.

my cousin found his s13 for 5 grand, but the thing had like 65,000 miles on it.

that, and if you have some patience, you can also make more money so you can buy a better one as well. continue to add to your budget.

its a process. usually when i go to find a car, i look at least at 2 or 3 of them over the course of a month. when i bought my corolla, it took me 3 months.

it took me 4 months to decide what my first car was, and that ended up being a brand new subaru impreza

SiKE... actually i do lol... but i have a reason for it... like this 240 i went to go take a look at for example... yea it has 2 something bazillion miles on it... but my plan is to swap any ways... its SOHC and i plan on swapping DOHC...

but to let you guys know how tonight went, i felt that even though it had a shit load of miles on it, it felt and drove very well for a car with that age and those many miles on it...

yea it may have a grip of miles on it but gotta start saving for that swap. but i felt reall, really comfortable with the car... i feel like the guy was not bullshittin me. he was straight forward and told me the things to look for on the car... he busted out the "cons list" and surprisingly it wasnt too bad...
i am more than sure this is the car i am going to get... will not be my daily driver yet but i still look at it as a clean canvas to start this project on...

timing chain or rod knock is my guess. maybe the timing chain guide???
